With the new women’s fragrance A Drop d'Issey, by Issey Miyake, launched in 2021, we are offered fresh and exciting perspectives. This eau de parfum is inspired by a single drop of water that acts like a magnifying glass, revealing the wonders of nature and drawing our attention to the smallest details. At the heart of this feminine, floral-fresh composition is a new interpretation of lilac flowers, forming a floral heart lightly enveloped by almond milk and musk.
For A Drop d'Issey, perfumer Ane Ayo created a modern interpretation of lilac, representing the perfect harmony between nature and technology. In the top notes, Damask rose offers a clean, transparent floral scent. In the warm heart of the composition, the sunlit lilac accord is highlighted by a hint of almond milk and orange blossom. The fragrance is completed with a rich musk note combined with cedarwood. A Drop d'Issey, a magnifying-drop effect, plays with optical illusions.
The bottle captures attention and opens a new perspective on the world, allowing one to see things from a different angle. A glossy mirror lens is placed atop the white outer packaging, reflecting the environment in a new light.
